My entire life I have been passionate about art, I have been creating artworks for more than 15 years. Where each painting is a new challenge in terms of shapes and colors. Especially looking for the right balance of colors is a very inspiring process and feels to me like completing a puzzle. Mainly I painted – to a greater or lesser extent –recognizable flower (fields), because nature keeps fascinating me indefinitely.

 

Nowadays my topics of interest have expanded (to for instance nature and buildings). The power of my artwork is the diversity of my topics, but all recognizable by my unique personal way of painting. The atmoshpere drawing being the most important elemant for me. 

 

I started developing my creative side at the classes of Pieter Sonnemans and for a large number of years I have been part of the art group Kunst.Leer in Valkenburg, the Netherlands.

 

I love to paint with acrylics alternately on cotton or linen cloths, but I also enjoy to work with oil paint. If you feel touched by my work, or are interested in one of them, you are more than welcome to make an appointment to view them in real life.
